Gather, connect and Nourish
Hunger is one of the most complex issues we work with at Wild Rose Community Connections. Whether we are hungering for connections with others, sustenance or both - the void can be ever-present. Our community has a number of different ways we are working towards nourishing the bodies and souls of the communities we serve.

FOODConnexx Programs
Food Security HUb - High River and Claresholm
We are here for you! Our aim is to reduce food insecurity, provide a means for vulnerable people to access food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds community and challenges inequality.
Most food establishments such as grocery stores and restaurants have goods from week to week that cannot be sold due to damage, excess or imminent best before dates, but may be perfectly still consumable. With the help of our partners we rescue this food weekly that would have otherwise gone to the landfill. We are affiliated with Food Banks Alberta.
High River Food Distributions - Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-12 pm by appointment only at 54 10th Ave SE.
Claresholm Food Distribution - Mondays and Fridays 9-10:30 am by appointment only at Bay 1, 4209 3rd Street E.
Bread available for anyone in the community at both locations during distribution hours.

In partnership with the Town, the locations of items that can be picked have been mapped.
